Hassan Giordano

The 34-year-old political strategist, consultant, television/radio host and journalist has been on a roller coaster ride throughout his life but is now riding a wave of success in the political and communications arenas. He is currently the Host of the Political Radio and television talk-show(s), the Reporters’ Roundtable, stationed in Maryland and dedicated to expressing an opinionated view of current political news. He is the Baltimore Independent Political writer for the Examiner.com, where he serves the Nation as a Premiere journalist/commentator on all things Political, through an Independent perspective. He serves as the founding Senior Associate of GCOMM Media Co. hailed as the Premiere political and communications consulting firm in the free-state of Maryland and serving as their senior campaign and communications consult and strategist.

He most recently served as a policy adviser, communications director and community organizer for Justice Maryland, a prison advocate and civil rights organization named City Paper’s 2006 Baltimore’s Best Non-Profit, where he wrote, lobbied and got passed the Md. Voter Registration Protection Act of 2007, which re-institutes voting rights to those formerly convicted of a felony, who have served their time to society. He is also the former Field Director for former Mayor, then Baltimore City Council President Sheila Dixon, former Legislative Aide and Press Secretary to Baltimore City Delegation Chair Delegate Salima Siler Marriott, former State Director for Maryland Voting Rights Restoration Coalition and former Board member for the National Right to Vote. He has served on a variety of political campaigns ranging from Michael Sarbane’s city-wide campaign to the statewide campaign of the Honorable Kweisi Mfume for United States Senate. He has weighed in on countless local campaigns for candidates seeking council, congressional and state legislative seats.

In a little under 10 years, he went from the bad boy of the block to the bad boy of politics. Since his political inception he has been premiered on numerous talk radio and television shows as well as in every major newspaper in the Baltimore region. He has received multiple awards including Youth Votes nationally accredited award “30 under 30” recognizing the top 30 people in politics under the age of 30.
